Alone in the month of July 2009, at least five young Christian women were abducted by Muslims, and not even their closest relatives have seen them again. These women are: Irene Hanna Labib, abducted in Sahel Tahta, Sohag on July 1; Marian Bishay, abducted in Omrania, Giza on July 15; Amira Morga , abducted in Alexandria on July 18; Reda Botros Samaan, abducted in Dayrout, Assiut on July 22; Ingy Basta, abducted on the way to Nozha Airport, Alexandria on July 22. According to credible sources, these women are being held by Muslim families against their will.

As a matter of urgency, we ask you, in the framework of your contacts with the Egyptian authorities, to see to it that full investigations into the disappearance of these young women take place and that they are brought back to their families.

Allein im Juli 2009 wurden mindestens fünf junge Christinnen von Muslimen entführt, und seither haben nicht einmal ihre engsten Verwandten sie wieder gesehen. Es handelt sich um: Irene Hanna Labib, am 1. Juli in Sahel Tahta, Sohag, entführt; Marian Bishay, am 15. Juli in Omrania, Giza, entführt; Amira Morga , am 18. Juli in Alexandria entführt; Reda Botros Samaa , am 22. Juli in Dayrout, Assiut, entführt; und Ingy Basta, auf dem Weg zum Flughafen Nozha in Alexandria entführt. Gemäss glaubwürdigen Quellen werden diese Frauen gegen ihren Willen von muslimischen Familien festgehalten.

Wir bitten Sie dringend, die zuständigen Behörden zu veranlassen, dass vollständige Untersuchungen bezüglich des Verschwindens dieser jungen Frauen eingeleitet und dass sie zu ihren Familien zurückgebracht werden.
